JOB TITLE: Accounting and Financial Reporting Analyst

JOB LOCATION: Gahanna, Ohio

JOB DUTIES: Under close supervision from a certified public accountant, prepare and record journal entries to support the monthly, quarterly and annual close in accordance with GAAP. Maintains general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts receivable detail and control accounts; adjusting entries for amortization, prepaids; analyzing and reconciling retained earnings and accounts payable ledgers; preparing fixed asset depreciation and accruals. Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis for clients. Provides financial status information by preparing special reports, completing special projects, for example, business evaluation. Calculate Commercial Activity Tax liabilities for clients and file related returns. Assist clients in duediligence process during the purchase or divestiture of business interests. Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to assist clients in decision-making with respect to investment alternatives. Prepare annual income and information tax returns for individual and corporate clients, complying with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements. Develop tax-optimization strategies and present solutions to clients. Assist clients in accessing government programs administered through HHS and SBA. Prepare information filings as required by government programs.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Position requires a Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or other related field. Three (3) monthsexperience or academic coursework must have included: Financial Reporting, Tax Planning, Auditing, Management of Corporate Data.
